Tunworth – British Camembert
£13.00
Description
Description
A Camembert-style cheese with uniquely British characteristics, made by Stacey Hedges and Charlotte Spruce in a village near Alton in Hampshire. The milk comes from Holstein cows and the taste of the cheese changes throughout the year depending on what the cows have been eating. Because Normandy has a similar terroir to Southwest England, Tunworth has a similar flavour profile to Camembert, but Tunworth is fresher and cleaner. It has an irresistible fudgy centre and melts near the edges.
This cheese provides a layer in several of our cheese wedding cakes.
