Description
For six generations Michele Oliva’s family has bred bees and harvested their honey in the Iblea Mountains of eastern Sicily. This honey is made from the nectars of wild thyme which grows spontaneously in the rocky mountainside crevices. Collected by Michele and his two sons in July, it is cold extracted, filtered and bottled with the help of his wife Francesca.
This intensely aromatic amber honey is delicious with creamy cheeses like Pecorino Dolce and Le Sounal.
