Perl Lâs (blue pearl in Welsh) was created accidentally by Carwyn and Susanna Adams on their family farm in West Wales in 2001. Carwyn’s Welsh-speaking parents Gwynfor and Thelma Adams have been farming for over 42 years, and started making a Caerphilly style cheese in 1987. Perl Lâs is an organic blue cheese that is unlike any other blue, strong yet delicate and creamy, a favourite at The Cheeseboard.
Try with the Brockley brewery Porter or sherry.
This cheese provides a layer of some of our cheese wedding cakes.
